3 days 2 nights - Tour ZTT B02

Day 1: Amman – Salt – Bethany - Amman
Meet and assist formalities at Amman International Airport. We continue with a full city tour of Amman, visiting the Roman Theatre and Citadel.  We then proceed to Salt, a lovely, sleepy town. Visiting a museum and a handicraft school where you can admire the traditional skills of making ceramics, weaving, silk-screen printing and dyeing.   We stop for lunch.  Continue to visit Bethany. In the New Testament, it is known as Bethany beyond the Jordan. The most important event in the River Jordan is undoubtedly the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. You will then enjoy dinner and overnight in Amman.


Day 2: Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Mukawir – Lot’s Cave – Dead Sea
You will have breakfast; we start our day by visiting Madaba, the City of Mosaics.  We visit the Church of St. George (Greek Orthodox Church in which the ground is covered with the famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and other holy sites dating from the sixth century AD).  Only a short distance away is Mount Nebo, the place where Moses climbed to see the Promised Land.  We stop here for lunch.  Continuing to Mukawir, it is in the ancient fortress at the top of the hill that John the Baptist was imprisoned and killed as a result of the dance of seven veils of Salome.   We continue to Grotto Lut where we see Lot’s Cave and see the pillar of Salt which includes the story of Lot, whose wife who was turned into a pillar of salt for disobeying God's will. We then proceed down to the lowest spot on earth, the Dead Sea, and experience floating on its waters! You will enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.


Day 3: Dead Sea – Amman
You will enjoy a wonderful breakfast, and then transfer to Amman International Airport, and assistance with departure formalities.
